Sparkle & Shine 2009 is a multi-group, multi-level contest. The overall goal: Create strong sellable stock artworks – photo, illo, video, and/or audio. Everyone is welcome!
Registration ends Sunday June 7
Contest starts July 1, 2009 and ends Dec 31, 2009
Between June 8 and June 28, your downloads will be tracked. This will provide a three-week average DL/day to judge against for the rest of the race.
On July 1, stats will roll back to zero to start counting. Your individual starting level will also be adjusted with current DLs as of July 1.
Each Group (starting DL category) will be judged against each other within that group.
Two components of the race:
- Highest % Increase in Overall Downloads
- Highest % Increase in Average DL/Day
(currently working on prizes, so not 100% sure how it will all even out)
Once the time setting starts, stats will be posted weekly. I intend to be able to post after the iStock updates on Sundays. For me, that is usually 6.03p PST. Time Converter based on 7p Sundays (this current event is scheduled for June 7)
